Managed to leave town on Saturday night. Spent all day on Saturday packing all of my worldly possessions into a cargo van I had picked up from Enterprise. I told the man that I was going to move a few boxes across town and would have it back on Tuesday. Bought a twelve pack of beer a pack of cigars and rolled down the windows blasting Edgar Winter Group's "Frankenstein".
Now, in Savannah, I gotta sit and wait for Gustav to roll through. Just heard that gas dropped $4 on the barrel. Funny how when gas goes up, gas stations waste no time to jack the prices up. When gas goes down though, those shames don't do a thing. Oh well. I'm at this coffee shop, "The Metro" in Savannah. Pretty nice. I used to work at Urban Outfitters, and the soundtrack is pretty much the same. Espresso is alright. I brought in a brown paper bag filled to the brim with old pastries from Cafe Envie. Just eating those and thinking about the weather.
Hopefully go to the beach and chill and fish tonight.
